Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you — the shop signing up — and Stock Sav, operated from Accra, Ghana. By creating an account you accept them.
1. What Stock Sav is
Stock Sav records what your shop stocks, sells and is owed. It runs in a web browser and keeps working through a lost connection, syncing when the connection returns.
It is a record-keeping tool. It is not accounting software, it does not file your taxes, and nothing in it is financial, tax or legal advice.
2. Your account
One account belongs to one shop. You may add staff up to the limit of your plan, and you are responsible for what they do with it — including anyone you keep on the account after they stop working for you.
Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at once if you think someone else has it. We will never ask you for it.
You must be 18 or older, and entitled to act for the shop you register.
3. The free trial
New shops get fourteen days of the full product, limited to three users and two thousand items. No card is required and it does not turn into a paid plan on its own — when the fourteen days end, the shop becomes read-only until you choose a plan.
4. Plans and payment
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Users | Items |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | GHS 120 | GHS 1,296 | 3 | 800 |
| Pro | GHS 300 | GHS 3,240 | 8 | 6,000 |
| Max | GHS 600 | GHS 6,480 | 20 | 20,000 |
Paying by the year saves ten per cent. You can pay for more than one year at a time. Prices are in Ghana cedis and include any tax we are required to charge.
Nothing renews automatically and we never store your card. Payments are taken by Paystack; we hold a record that a payment succeeded, never the card itself. When a period ends you choose whether to pay again.
Payments are for a period already chosen, and are not refundable part-way through it. If something on our side has stopped the service working, talk to us — we would rather sort it out than argue about a refund.
5. When a plan runs out
For seven days after a plan ends, everything keeps working normally. After that the shop becomes read-only: you can still read everything and export it, but you cannot record new sales until you pay again.
Your data is not deleted when you stop paying. A shop that has gone read-only can still get everything out of it.
6. Who owns what
Your shop's records — your items, sales, customers, prices, staff — are yours. We claim no ownership of them and we do not sell them, rent them, or use them to advertise to you or to anyone else.
Stock Sav itself, its software, name and design, remains ours. Using it does not transfer any of that to you.
7. Fair use
You agree not to:
- share one account across shops that are not yours, to avoid paying for them
- try to reach another shop's data, or test our security without asking us first
- copy, resell or rebrand Stock Sav as your own
- use it to record anything illegal
- put load on it deliberately designed to degrade it for other shops
8. Getting your data out, and ending the agreement
You can stop using Stock Sav whenever you like — simply do not pay for another period. Before you go, export what you need; ask us if you want a full copy of your shop's data and we will provide it in a format you can open.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 7, or that has gone unpaid for a long time. Except where something is seriously or repeatedly wrong, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right and to take your data with you.
9. What we promise, and what we do not
We work to keep Stock Sav available and correct, and we take backups. We do not promise it will never be unavailable, and we cannot promise a specific uptime figure.
Stock Sav records what you tell it. It cannot know that a number typed at the counter was wrong. Check your own figures before relying on them for tax, for a loan, or for any decision that matters.
Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. We take backups for our own recovery; they are not a substitute for yours.
10. Liability
Where the law allows us to limit it, our total liability to you for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for profits you did not make, business you lost, or data you lost that we had no hand in losing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. If a change matters — anything affecting price, what you get, or your rights — we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Carrying on using Stock Sav after that date means you accept the new version. If you would rather not, stop using it and ask us for your data.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute. Talk to us first — most things are quicker to fix than to argue about.
